“The inspiration behind the woodland wedding shoot was to create a delicate heavenly wonderland set in the depths of the wilderness. A glamorous type of raw beauty styled to perfection by Brown Birds and photographed by Ella Violet Photography, with the use of statement flower crowns to stand out against the stunning natural woodland setting.”
“We wanted the perfect mix of a bohemian and luxe wedding vibe by using our vintage props, elegant bridal gowns and the late winter and early spring palette of exquisite flowers by The Country Garden Flower Company”
“A beautiful secret woodland wedding location, we opted for contrasting textures, using Bertie and Fred’s delicate hand dyed cheesecloth with a reclaimed wooden table from our new range, perfect for banquet style dining with an extravagant floral centrepiece. The use of mixed metallic highlighted accents of golden roses, reflected the styling of stunning brassware, copper cutlery and gold charger plates used on the tables and provided the lift needed to compliment and illuminate the other furnishings. We also set up a romantic outdoor ceremony within the hazel arch using our antique ornate chairs to line the aisle. Following the trends for 2018, our favourite area has to be the cosy corner including some of our newest additions a vintage Gin bar and opulent emerald green chesterfield sofa. Not forgetting our striking rustic door backdrop dressed with deer horns and foliage.”
“Apple Tree Cake Designs created an impressive but modest 3 tier ivory cake, enhanced with fresh flowers, which sat beautifully on our vintage console table beneath the amazing floral hoops.”
“Our floral inspiration was gathered from the stunning surroundings, and the determination of what the season has to offer. A transitional time between Late Winter and early Spring, before all the bright and light tones of true Spring arrive. Concentrating on the deep sumptuous tones of the early Hellebores, Faded Hydrangeas, Witch Hazel, Early Tulips, Ranunculi’s and the tones of the late winter evergreen foliage, bought to life the surrounding carpet of fallen leaves. With the addition of ten drilling vines within the bouquet, these picked up on the beauty of the venue’s stunning natural woodland canopy.”
“Our models Charlotte and Joanie, wore Watters Wtoo, Riki Dalal, Haarlem Bridal all from Halo + Wren. Add in an oversized denim jacket and cropped leather biker jacket with personalized motif designed by Lucky Sew and Sew exclusive to Rock The Frock, accessorised with Sash and Veils gorgeous ‘Gemma’ design and lace edged Juliet Cap Veil or for the adventurous Bride a dramatic Birdcage Veil and you’ve got the edgy Bride look. Leanne from LM make up created a dramatic look for our models, with heavy smoky eyes and bold lip colours which contrasted against their chic dresses and wild surroundings. Charlotte’s romantic blonde waves were a perfect match for her elaborate flower crown for the first look. Natalie Jane Hair then created a textured effortless pretty updo that complimented the veil and birdcage veil. Joanie has an amazing afro which was amplified to showcase her sensational floral hair piece.”
We wanted to inspire couples to take advantage of our natural surroundings and the raw beauty of a woodland wedding. To be bold and stay true to their individual styles and embrace unconventional ideas to create ‘one off’ wedding days.”
