“Luxury elopement for two! This was a celebration of the English countryside, with touches of rambling rose and lavender throughout. I wanted to show just how luxurious an elopement could be, leading you through a romantic journey of the day. In these times where travel is limited, there are subtle nods to the Mediterranean. Arriving at the stunning venue Priston Mill in the heart of Somerset, our couple would be met with 360 degrees of stunning views, set against the back drop of the Tithe barn, they are welcomed with lavender champagne cocktails, served in vintage Italian crystal glasses.”
“I wanted the whole feel of the day to be relaxed but elegant, the bride wears a Paloma Blanca gown supplied by Rookery Bridal, simple in design with pocket details for a casual feel. The hair was styled with the same elegant detailing, by Mary Beth Trigwell and simply pinned, and accessorised with a double hair comb.”
“Our bride model carried a beautiful wild open bouquet arrangement, with trailing natural dyed silks in lavender and blush. Our groom is smart wearing a tweed ensemble from Suave Owl, loosing the jacket and opting for trousers and waistcoat smart shirt, we rolled the sleeves, and of course the boutonniere gave a colourful lift to his lapel.”
“Leading onto the outdoor ceremony space we chose soft draped natural muslin, and the floral design throughout was both wild and beautiful. We used hints of antique silver for a touch of luxury and natural confetti, rosemary, olive leaves and dried lavender to add a shower of fragrance. Calligraphy was executed perfectly by Mirabelle Makery inviting you in to the love story with hand written vow books and place settings.”
“Our reception for two sits underneath a Mediterranean style pergola with a rustic French table, rambling rose table runner, vintage cranberry glasses etched in soft gold, antique silver candlesticks provides a beautiful setting for our couple to celebrate in.”
“The cake is small but beautifully created by Angel’s kitchen and keeps the detail flowing with the sugar stems of lavender, sweet peas and flakes of antique silver touches. Served cake and coffee on the terrace, taking shade from the afternoon sun, our couple could enjoy a romantic table for two”
“To draw a close to our perfect day I created a rustic styled cheese and port table with all the luxury details of the theme. A combination of French and Somerset cheeses, fruit, nuts, local honey and chutney made the cheese station a flavoursome way to end a beautiful day.”
