Your Skincare
“Glowy skin is the most requested skin finish from brides! Here are my top tips for achieving a fresh & glowy look that is also super long-lasting. First things first absolutely do not skip the skincare. Only use small amounts of product to ensure makeup doesn’t slide about on the skin. Use a rich moisturising eye cream if your under eyes tend to crease. Use hyaluronic acid in the lead-up to your wedding to hydrate your skin. Ensure your skin is damp prior to applying hyaluronic acid so your skin can absorb the moisture too!”

Your Base
“Creating a hydrated base is the key to glowing skin, lightweight, moisturising products are the way to do this. Using thin layers of the product will ensure a long-lasting makeup. It’s all about the base. Using an illuminating product as your primer will start the process off right. I love to use the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow as my first step after skin care.”
Setting Your Make-Up
“Don’t over mattify. Only use powder in places that need setting, for example under the eyes or places that tend to go oily throughout the day. The beauty crop Vitamin Babe, loose setting powder is great. It’s very finely milled so it doesn’t look heavy on the skin.
Setting spray is your bestie! Using a setting spray throughout applying the makeup will ensure it doesn’t get too cakey. Use after applying powders to melt products into the skin. For an extra glow use an illuminating spray such as the iconic London Prep Set Glow.”
Highlighting
“Lastly, use a powder/liquid highlight on the high points of the face eg. cheekbones & tip of the nose. Doing this will top off the glowy skin look and look so pretty on camera. Highlighting the inner corner of the eye will really make the eyes pop!”
Make It Last
“Use oil blotting sheets to combat oiliness throughout the day. Applying too much powder throughout the day will lead to a cakey look so try not to do this! Make sure you’ve got lipstick and liner in your bag to top up your lips throughout the day!”
