We’ve decided to skip Winter this year and move straight into the loveliness of Spring blossoms with this fresh and modern outdoor styled shoot full of romantic luxe vibes. Country garden wedding inspiration with all the feels!
Brought to us by The English Wedding Blogs ‘bridal bible’ suppliers, this well executed shoot was styled and co-ordinated by Emma of Emma Turner Weddings here we catch up with her and some of the other featured suppliers to get all the info…
“I wanted to show that outdoor weddings don’t have to be all about hay bales and bunting. You can still have a modern and stylish outdoor wedding in a country location.
“The shoot took place at ‘That Amazing Place’ in Harlow Essex, it’s a great location,
very modern inside, and has a great marquee attached enabling you to get married both inside and out!”
Emma’s style for the shoot was “romantic, glamourous, and modern” – She styled the shoot with Vicky from Party squared, who supplied the most wonderful props.
Amanda Karen was the photographer behind the romantic, modern imagery, and she added her own style “I really wanted to bring in the airy fine art style to the shoot to really show off the romantic styling”
The Dress – Lenka Bespoke Bridal
“I worked with Lenka as I wanted a bespoke dress made especially for the shoot and she didn’t disappoint on any level, big romantic dresses that looked stylish and modern, adding romance in the butterflies”
Florals – Miss Fleur Floral
“Pops of colour were used to the neutral background of the venue and to compliment the copper accessories. The bouquet was of natural style with lots of texture and movement using some spring flowers. The low table centre piece was made using no floral foam to support the #nofloralfoam movement.
Cake – La Belle cake company
“When I was approached by Emma to create a cake for the shoot I knew that it was right up
my street. Stylish, romantic and soft colours with a hint of metallic is completely my style. As metallics are still such a huge trend I knew I wanted it to feature predominantly in the design so I decided to do an entire tier covered with rose gold lustre.”
“I’m a huge fan of sugar flowers on wedding cakes so I knew I wanted to include those in my design and chose soft blush flowers to compliment the style of the shoot. Bold green foliage meant that they were not competing for attention against the rose gold tier. The different height and shaped tiers added a different dimension to the cake and were perfect for adding the monogram detail. The soft hand piped lace detail added that final finishing touch”
Hair – Hair by Jennie
“Our models hair colour worked perfectly with this soft textured up do. I wanted to create a modern day Cinderella after getting inspiration from seeing the butterflies on the second stunning dress”
