Coordinated and styled by photographer The Lopes Photography and florist Rose Flow LX it shows a simple and chic style of wedding. We catch up with them and some of the other suppliers involved to find out all about this beautiful Portuguese destination wedding…
“We did the shoot in order to showcase how great local vendors can be, and to showcase the simple beauty of Portugal. We were influenced by the minimalist and stunning facets of the venue and back drop it really inspired us to create something to compliment and enhance them at the same time.”
Styling- The Lopes Photography and Rose Flow LX
“We wanted people to see that it is possible to have a gorgeous wedding with less florals, more whites, and more greenery/dried florals which make for a unique + different wedding! Our ideas were to show the simple beauty of minimalism, not only that, but we wanted the main color palette to be gold, neutrals and muted greens, while also showcasing the lovely parts of Portugal.”

“We thought it would be a great idea to show people what type of style The Lopes Photography thrives off of and the ideas we love to go after. So, we decided to create according to what we want clients to perceive us as. We have a love for couples who are down for a great adventure, and appreciation for natural, yet trendy photography, and most importantly a love for LOVE. We also wanted to show the lines between nature and love, which is why our photos in this styled shoot are clean with lots of whites, and with the balance of warmth and cool tones.”
Florals- Rose Flow LX
“Our inspiration is linked to the people who seek us. We develop our art through the desire and dreams of each. Whether in the choice of color, flower or elements, there is a connection between our work and the representation of a desire that we are happy to materialize.”

[line]“There’s something inherently classy and classic about neutral tones that make them so captivating. In this case, we used protea, cotton and eucalyptus to refer to the soft elements of nature. The key was to pick hues that add a subtle and soft layer of color to the beauty and delicacy of simple flowers enriched with some gold tones to transmit elegance and sophistication.”
Make Up – Catarina Duque MUA
“I was inspired by the colors of the venue, dress, style that the editorial had… and of course: I gave my personal touch to it. I wanted to do something simple, but at the same time something that would stand out. I tried to do something timeless, elegant, and classy.”
Stationery- Molde Design Weddings
“The romantic and modern style look took us to a universe way more clean + simple where we wanted the details to shine. The biggest inspiration came from the textures of the
materials and the kind of finishes we had in our mind when we saw the editorial moodboard. Something like ethereal, natural, but smoky that could elevate the stationary to something more. Less is more, and it can be so elegant.”
