We are passionate about supporting indie, creative businesses who have put their heart and soul into designing beautiful pieces that free thinking brides will love. They don’t need to be vintage, they just need to have soul. And so we are so chuffed to share this new dress collection from Lucy Can’t Dance today with you all.
Lucy Can’t Dance is a bespoke dressmaker specialising in quirky dresses for non traditional brides. Experimenting with laces and colour techniques to give you exciting, elegant and unique wedding dress designs. Lucy loves bold laces, dip dye silk skirts, breathtaking back details and buttons.
This dress takes Lucy hours and hours to hand sew on more than 800 flowers, so with this gown you know you are wearing a labour of love bit something made in a factory thousands of miles away.
All of Lucy’s dresses are handmade in her studio. Colours and details can be altered to suit your style and vision.
Lucy describes the new collection, “I’ve been working and designing the new collection for the past 6 months. I love lace so I have searched the globe looking for exciting new fabrics. I have also been experimenting with different dyes and colour techniques to give you some interesting new ideas to spice up the traditional Ivory wedding dress. A lot of things have inspired me while designing this collection. I am always a lover of vintage clothing and some of these designs definitely have a 1920s feel to them. My love of lace gives the dresses a fresh bohemian vibe.”
If you would like to see the new Lucy Can’t Dance collection (and why wouldn’t you?) in action then they are having a launch party and fashion show on Saturday the 6th of May in Chelmsford Essex. Its free entry and everyone is welcome.
Why not join the Lucy Can’t Dance Facebook event page for up to date news on the evening. We hope to see you there x
