Our March wedding fair with our first Fake Wedding, saw us return to the beautiful wedding venue Victoria Baths in Manchester. Although the snow was coming down and it was perishing temperatures, our wonderful suppliers and brides still got to out to see us; now that’s dedication to the cause!
We hosted the fair with sheer determination and the Fake Wedding went beautifully with the most gracious bride and groom! Here we take a look at some of our wonderful suppliers in action and show you what we got up to on the day!
Russell and Browns Vintage Hair were with us to do live hair and make up for our lovely bride Elaine, to get her ready for the ceremony!
We had gin cocktails and canapes beside a styled wedding breakfast by Bespoke Events and Styling, Charlies Flower Boutique and Coco Vintage.
Awaiting the guests, the beautiful backdrop of Victoria Baths was the perfect location, this area used to be the swimming pool for the high class members of society.
We even had an order of service by Lost Heritage for all our wonderful guests, they got to drink cocktails, eat canapés, visit the glitter bar by Transform U and get a tattoo at Doris Loves tattoo bar.
Elaine wore a dress by Elsie Vee Vintage, her bridesmaids were in English Country Vintage and Jay wore a suit by 20th Century Chap with accessories by Kaye Hanabuss
All our Florals were by the wonderful Charlie’s Flower Boutique who also held a workshop on the day to show our lovely brides how to make their very own flower crowns.
Michelle Amy Weddings was our celebrant who got to ‘marry’ the lovely couple.
Cutting the cake by La Belle Cake Company, and yes we definitely did sample it! Elaine also got chance to throw the bouquet.
Name and a Dress also joined in with some live illustration, such a unique way to capture your wedding day.
Last but not least we had some amazing photographers on the day Nik and his team at Nik Bryant photography were our dedicated fake wedding photographers, and we got some fantastic shots from Lorraine Hicks at Key moments photography too (the ones with the watermarks on the images)!
