Choosing your bridesmaid dresses can be a tricky business. Firstly you want to find something that they will like and if you have a few maids then this can be tough! But how about getting them something that they can wear again and again, something that is young and fun rather than a smart full length evening dress?
#BestGals designed by Velvet Johnstone and Karen Whybro, the founder of Rock The Frock is a collection of bridesmaid dresses that can do just that. Launched last year, we featured the collection in our Fake Wedding but thought we would take the time to show it to you in full.
The collection is made up of separates which you can mix and match as to your theme or for what your best gals want – consisting of a rainbow of muted pastel tulle skirts in a range of lengths with an amazing selection of tops and playsuits in ivory.
In fact they can be worn by the bride too. Karen describes the range:
“This collection is made with a non-bridesmaid in mind; the type of girls who want to wear something modern & beautiful for the wedding yet fashion-forward enough to be able to mix & match with jeans, sweaters & everything else on a daily basis. This collection solves the bridesmaid dress headache & gives your best gals an outfit they can wear again!”
We also think they have a slight 90s feel to them, which is a trend coming to bridal looks and as this decade is thought of now as vintage (by some!) then this is the perfect bridesmaid range for a modern, artisan bride.
Here they are worn with other clothing… as your maids can do after the big day.
